Family Portrait Every Year Posted: 30 April 2019 For the past six years I have photographed this family every year. I thought it would be fun to pick one family photograph from each year to show the differences in the boys growing up. The little one was just 2 in the first portrait so he's the one that has changed the most but you can see that the older brother is getting taller.Read more about Family Portrait Every YearAdd new comment
Headshot Photo Shoot in Northumberland Posted: 24 April 2019 I recently had the pleasure of taking a headshot photo shoot on location in Northumberland. Using the natural environment and a long lens to get a neutral backdrop to the photos. After all, in a headshot, the main focus is...your face.We did some indoor shots and outdoor shots, but as ever, my favourites were all outdoor ones. Here are a few.Read more about Headshot Photo Shoot in NorthumberlandAdd new comment
Fun in the snow - a portrait session Posted: 18 January 2018 Before Christmas I held a prize draw at the Great Park Christmas fair to win a portrait session. One of the 2nd prize winners wanted some photos of her grandchildren. We did the session in the school holidays and it happened to be snowing!Thankfully, the mum didn't call it off and I met them at the community centre.Read more about Fun in the snow - a portrait sessionAdd new comment
Family Photos in Northumberland Posted: 8 December 2016 You may recognise this family. I take their family photos every year and they give the grandparents photos of the grandchildren every Christmas. It's lovely to see the boys growing each year. So far we've photographed in four different locations. It'll be interesting to see where we end up next year, unless we start at the beginning again!Read more about Family Photos in NorthumberlandAdd new comment
Boo! Boys Portrait Posted: 11 November 2016 A bit of fun during these family pictures - the boys just peeked out from between these hedges and struck their own pose. The parents chose this one to put on their wall.If you're interested in having a family portrait taken in time for Christmas, please ring 0191 2864014 to book your session. Wouldn't the grandparents just love to have a photograph of the children to open on Christmas day?Read more about Boo! Boys PortraitAdd new comment

Booking a Portrait Session Posted: 7 April 2015 A lot of people who book a portrait session, have never had one before, so I thought I would give you an idea of what to expect from one of my photo shoots. The session will either take place at a location discussed by us previously - either one of the locations I usually use, or you may have a park local to you that you like spending time in. Alternatively, we could do the session in the comfort of your own home, like the family shot below.Read more about Booking a Portrait SessionAdd new comment
