Brand New Wedding Venue - Bichfield Tower

Over the weekend there were showcase open days for a fabulous brand new wedding venue in Northumberland.

Made up of a 12th and 15th century pele tower, 17th century manor house extension and an early 20th century East Wing, Bichfield Tower is set in six acres of landscaped gardens and looks out over the beautiful Northumberland countryside.

You can currently hold your wedding reception at Bichfield Tower and they have applied for a licence to hold ceremonies. This is the stunning room where you would get married.

A contemporary feeling in a family home. I love the window seats with the mirrors on either side.

There is space on the lawns to have a tipi or marquee and the house accommodates 22 for an intimate wedding breakfast.

The beautiful gardens are a photographer's dream at any time of year. I especially love the rill of water that reflects the house. Looking down it from the house, you get the stunning views of the countryside beyond the lake.

One of my favourite rooms has to be the library. I would love to have a room like this - quirky and practical (if you like reading), it has an open fireplace looking through to the hall.

There are 11 bedrooms in the main house and a cottage for overnight accommodation.

A truly spectactular venue which feels like a home away from home. I wish it was open when I got married as I would've loved to have tied the knot here. I am very much hoping that I get the opportunity to work here soon!
